Yoga and Honey: A Block Island Remedy

This fall, we’re thinking a yoga retreat on Block Island sounds like a positively blissful way to unwind on a weekend trip.  Besides being one of the most calming and beautiful places on the eastern seaboard IOHO (in our humble opinion), Block Island has everything a girl could need for a relaxing escape with pals or partner: bike rides, beaches, and walks along the bluffs, not to mention a unique selection of quant inns, shops, and seafood restaurants.  If you make it to the farmers’ market on Saturday morning, you HAVE to try the honey.

Sue Littlefield, the Kripalu Certified yoga instructor of Block Island Yoga who will be hosting two all-day retreats this fall, has been selling their island-made honey her family for years, and their creamy style is quite possibly the best thing we’ve ever tasted.  The retreats will be held on Saturday September 28th and Saturday October 19th.  For more information, and to register, visit blockislandyoga.com.
