With warm weather springing and green things popping up outside, I can’t help but dream away about a spring bridal shower in the garden, especially in a palette of white. I love the combination of crochet, like these vintage doily garlands or an old fashioned hammock, with spring blossoms and lots of green growing things.
If you’re throwing a shower on a budget, a simple vase of flowers can still have a lot of impact. If you’re going to try to tackle flower arranging yourself, stick to one kind of flower and it will be easier to pull together. Plus, it will look effortless, like the pitcher full of stock (which smells wonderful and comes in all sorts of lovely colors) below. Just remember to snip one to two inches of the stems before plunging in cold water.
