Rent the Runway – Because Wedding/Bridal Shower/Engagement Party Season Is Upon Us

The typical social calendar for women in their 20s, 30s and even 40s seems to predictably start to fill up every year around April, as the slew of wedding-related festivities inevitable begins. First there’s the engagement party, followed by the spring-time backyard bridal shower, the destination bachelorette and the culmination of it all, the wedding (which may or may not include a rehearsal dinner, after-party and post-wedding brunch). While all these events are sure to be a grand old time, there’s often the nagging little problem of “what in the heck am I going to wear??” as each event nears. We’ve mentioned Rent the Runway before, we’re thinking their new unlimited account may just be the way to go this wedding season.  Here’s how it works in a nutshell: You pay a flat fee to join and choose three items to start.  You can keep them for as long as you want and then return any or all of the items when you’re ready for something new. Basically, you can outfit yourself like new for any three-day wedding weekend, bachelorette getaway, etc and then exchange it all in-time for the next event. Pretty genius if you ask us!
