Providence G Styled Shoot

With the goal of collaboration and inspiration, photographer Sarah Pudlo enlisted the help of some of Rhode Island’s top wedding industry professionals to create a geometric-inspired shoot at Providence’s ultra chic event space, Providence G.

By Colby Radomski

Infinite Events masterminded the design of the shoot, opting for a bold color palette of mint, gold, ivory and black and adding geometric décor elements, like candlesticks and patterned chargers, to create a modern feel that coincided with the minimalist look of the Providence G’s ballroom. Florals and linens, along with the ceremony display, were provided by Pranzi Catering & Events. The gilded bridal bouquet featured popular seasonal blooms including Juliet garden roses, First Lady roses, brunia berry, ranunculus and gold painted succulents! Organic fillers were shaped cascade style and included sprayed seeded eucalyptus, gold eucalyptus leaves, natural ruscus and other natural greens. The bud vase centerpieces included more gold painted eucalyptus, Queen Anne’s lace, lisianthus, ranunculus, and petite succulents.

Pranzi also provided the sweet treats, which included mint-tinted French macaroon towers, (some containing gold painted X’s and O’s!) as well as delicious spiked milk shakes tinted green and poured in glasses rimmed with gold sugar.

Gorgeous models and husband and wife Trey and Lauren had an undeniable chemistry while on set. BellaBeauty Bridal of Newport, Rhode Island, a team that specializes in on-location bridal hair and makeup, provided hair and makeup styling for the shoot, choosing a simple, subtle smokey eye for Lauren and adding a punch of color with a coral lip. Because both of the dresses featured in this shoot were such statement pieces, Bella created an elegant, soft ballerina bun that was completed with a Swarovski crystal hair vine comb, provided by Perception Jewelry. Stunning marquise cubic zirconia stones created the perfect earring along with an oval and round cubic zirconia crystal bracelet.

The ivory pleated English net ball bridal gown featuring a V-neck ballerina bodice, designed by Hayley Paige, from The Bridal Garden, was a must-have due to its geometric art deco beading and full layered skirt of English net and organza in asymmetrical cuts.

“We knew that it would mimic our bold patterns theme well and fit with the timeless elegance at the Providence G,” says Pudlo.

Midway through the shoot, Lauren changed into a second gown by Terani. This column dress with a scoop cowl neckline featured a stunning crystal paisley motif at the back. A jewelry switch was also made to include a vintage Swarovski necklace with a sophisticated pearl and cubic zirconia drop earrings. Trey wore Julian by Ike Behar, with a checkered patterned jacket and slim fitting waist and tapered shoulders. He later changed into a Black Waverly also by Ike Behar with a shawl collar. It featured a tapered waist and easy lined shoulders giving it a very modern look. Both looks were provided by Anthony’s House of Formals.

The invitation suite was created Val of the Paper Perfectionist and included marble lined invitation mounted to plexi.
