Since seeing the beautiful Camila Alves, aslo known as the new Mrs. Matthew McConaughey, wear that gorgeously decadent mantilla veil to her wedding, I have been craving more. A Catholic tradition, the veils haved gained popularity not only in Spain but more recently in the US. The lace veils were made popular in the 16th century and typically worn when in presence of the Pope. These beautifully detailed head coverings are perfect for more formal ceremonies. While some are floor length, using a more modern shoulder length can be appropriate for almost any wedding.
What do you think? Would you steal this style, or leave the lace alone?
