Joelle Christian to Eric Arria

Joelle and Eric wed on a Sunday afternoon in May in front of a flower-draped gazebo at Pinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA, surrounded by 165 guests and several attendants, including three young boys fitted in suits, the youngest being the couples two-year-old son, Nico.

A steel drum musician played music before, during and after the ceremony as a nod to Joelles native St. Thomas. We decided on a First Look, and after we told each other how incredible we looked, Eric got teary-eyed and said he was thankful he had a chance to see me in my gown, in private, before the ceremony, says Joelle.
Joelle wore a stunning Pronovias ivory, strapless dress she accented with sparkly peep-toe heels and earrings. The element of sparkle surfaced again in the crystals and pearls incorporated into her bouquet of cream and ivory roses and peonies, in the ribbon of rhinestones on her classic wedding cake and in the sparklers guests held high as the newlyweds departed the reception.

In lieu of the traditional guest book, guests filled out tags hanging from a gorgeous tree in the club foyer, giving the couple their advice about the key to a beautiful marriage. We also had them sign wine labels for bottles of wine set aside for every anniversary, says the bride.

Katy Valentine, event coordinator at the Pinehills, marvels at the couples dream wedding. From the décor and steel drums in the Garden Gazebo during the ceremony to the etched window sash seating arrangements and unique centerpieces on each table of flowers, vintage picture frames and books, you could see she [the bride] brought her dream wedding to life.
