Date Night Idea: Newport Restaurant Week

Before you order another pizza, put on your pajama pants and settle in on the couch this weekend, consider instead putting on some lipstick and heels and venturing across the bridges for some delicious dining in Newport County. Thanks to Newport Restaurant Week, you can feast at some of the classiest joints in Newport, Jamestown, Bristol and Tiverton for a $30  three-course meal. These seaside towns are still charming this time of year, and the throngs of tourists and beach traffic are long gone.  Try out the new Plantation at the Bay in Jamestown with its unmatched views of the Newport Bridge, The Boat House in Tiverton, or if you’re craving a good steak, 22 Bowens.

Newport Restaurant Week runs through November 10th.  For a complete list of participating restaurants or to make a reservation, head here.
