“Brewlywed” Season Is Upon Us!

Are you a beer-obsessed couple looking to wed in a unique (and free!) way? How about at the Sam Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA? On June 18th, the brewery will hold their annual Brewlywed at the Brewery event, where co-founder and brewer Jim Koch will be on hand along with a Justice of the Peace to marry any couples who wish to tie the knot or renew their vows.

If you’re not quite ready for that kind of commitment, you can also purchase the limited edition Brewlywed Ale that day, of which only 200 cases will be released. The Belgium-style ale is a fruity and floral complex brew which comes in a specially designed bottle with a champagne cork. True beer enthusiasts begin lining up at 5am to purchase the brew, and if you’re thinking of taking to the alter, wear a white dress and tux to go straight to the front of the line!

And finally, if you can’t make it to Boston but  are looking for a wedding gift like no other, you might want to check out this “Once-in-a-Lifetime Wedding Home Brew Experience,” which will be available for one person to purchase on June 20th.

I think it’s safe to say the “craft beer as part of your wedding” craze is here to stay, don’t you think?
