Against the backdrop of a Mediterranean-inspired courtyard at The Villa in East Bridgewater, Jennifer McLean and Heath Wasylow took their vows to become husband and wife. The pair met in college more than seven years before, and although Heath’s Army assignment kept them apart, he asked for Jennifer’s hand.
“Heath proposed in Centennial Park during one of my visits to Atlanta, Georgia, where he was stationed,” says Jennifer. The bride also describes her wedding day as “Perfect! It could not have been better in any way. Our favorite part about the wedding was the delicious food and cake.”
Katelyn Hill, senior event producer at Saphire Event Group, also shares fond memories of Jennifer and Heath’s nuptials. “Nothing could have complemented this June wedding ceremony in the gardens better than the sweet pink lemonade that greeted Jennifer and Heath’s guests as they arrived,” says Katelyn. “Everything about Jennifer’s choices in décor and detail mirrored the romance and love that she and Heath shared together. The use of blush pink accents in the florals, lighting and linens perfectly juxtaposed the dark woods and strong architectural features of the Madera Ballroom. The courtyard proved not only to be an ideal spot for Jennifer and Heath to enjoy cocktails and nosh on hors d’oeuvres with their bridal party, but was also an intimate spot for the moment he first saw her that day.”
