Linda Le Phan and Dave Tran’s special day was comprised of fun, creativity, romance and whimsy. Surrounded by family and friends, the couple celebrated their vows at the Saphire Estate in Sharon, Massachusetts.
Shades of pink and touches of gold set the colorful theme. “We called it ‘Classy Carnival’ because we wanted games and fun, but we also wanted it to be tasteful,” says Linda. Games like corn-hole and Whac-A-Mole were set out on the lawn for young and old to enjoy during cocktail hour. Guests also gathered at the groom-requested crafts table to show off their creative skills.
A spread of dim sum and seafood fueled the energy for all the fun and games. Other culinary highlights included a mashed potato bar as part of the meal and an ice cream sundae bar for dessert. The wedding cake was rum-soaked: chocolate mousse and strawberries with a layer of vanilla cream.
“They [the couple] were very creative, very funny, and very smart,” says Hillary Wesson, event producer, and Dana Bates, marketing manager, for the Saphire Event Group.
A sweet surprise for Linda: Dave organized and executed a choreographed dance for his bride. A little work, fun and creativity to celebrate a lot of love.
